mint green

Dress: Oxfam. Jacket: H&M. Lookbook: Here.

This dress is so out of the norm for me. I really love it, it's just I'm so used to wearing short dresses! I don't even know if I suit it...but I found it in Oxfam for £1 and I couldn't resist the bargain! I think I need to grow a few inches or wear huge heels for it to work. I hate being so short! I also need to take it in a lot as it's 3 sizes too big. ;(

Sorry for not posting much over Christmas and New Year. I haven't really had the chance! Plus I've been ill with some sort of flu and I had a pretty terrible day yesterday (well Monday, as it's technically Wednesday) but everything is okay now! :-) I want to relax and sleep but earlier one of the cats managed to turn the gas cooker on and it leaked gas for about 10 minutes before I noticed. (stupid blocked nose!) Now I'm paranoid they'll do it again and the house will blow up while I sleep. ;|

  2. The mint color looks absolutely amazing on you! It really brings out your hair and skin color. My favorite part is the length of it. It's longer than the dresses you usually see everyone wearing lately, but it looks so classy and sophisticated on you!

  8. I think the colour of dress goes really well with your hair colour. I also like how you've teamed it with a tough leather jacket as a contrast to the feminine pleats of the dress. I think you've pulled it off really well :)

  18. I really love the whole pleated skirt section to it.

I'd definitely wear some heels with it, then you can make it swoosh! :)

  20. I don't think the dress looks bad being big at all, it suits you so well! I would adore a dress like that <3 Some heels probably would look great with it, but I don't think you necessarily have to wear them x

  21. I love the dress, it's such a gorgeous colour! Truthfully it does look a little big for you but as it's winter you could definetely work it with a jacket on top! Great find.
