navy

Dress: Romwe. Coat: River Island. Lookbook: Here.

Here's the other dress I was sent from Romwe! I fell in love with it on their site but when I got it I realised it has some crazy 80's shoulder thing going on, so I'm going to get the sewing machine out before I wear it properly...I still think it's beautiful though!

Spent last week helping Robbie research our town for a project hes doing, knitting some more and baking chocolate orange brownies! Also spent a lot of time drooling over tba's new collection. If only I had £600 spare for the things I want...sigh. ;(

I'm in the middle of making my Nanna's favorite trifle now as it's her birthday tomorrow...Shes 91!

  2. I lOVE your coat! The dress is lovely too, shoulder pads can be a bit hit and miss can't they! Have to be the right shape on the right body. At least you can sew. I'd probably end up making a mess of it!

  13. I think that the shoulders on the dress actually look quite refreshingly chic, to be quite honest. You don't often find dresses that give off an eighties vibe without being very over the top, so personally I'd suggest leaving the shoulders as they are. However, what might suit it more is to tighten/create cuffs around the wrists.

A little like this - http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/dresses/ax-paris-stud-cuff-dress_212929901- without the sequins, though (as that would push it into the OTT category!)

You look gorgeous as ever, though, and I hope your nanna has a lovely birthday!

PS: Can we have the recipe to those brownies by any chance? Thank you! :)
