You know that rare moment you find something you love so much you want a million of them? Hello ballet flats. I bought the black pair on a whim because my feet were hurting while I was shopping and I've never looked back. They are the comfiest shoes in the world. Of course I had to buy the nude pair too...

Oops! You know when you think you did something the other day when really it was two months ago? Yeah...
How do you people with full time jobs find spare time to blog?! I can't find any... I was reading my emails this morning and got one asking if I had moved to another blog address as I hadn't blogged since the beginning of AUGUST. What. I swear I thought it was about two weeks... This made me realise I am flaking a bit and thought I'd draw a line through my blog related laziness right now!

Trousers! I wanted these so badly but I didn't think I'd ever get a pair because they seemed to be sold out everywhere. :-( I went shopping about a month ago and searched through H&M twice before giving up... Then later that day I went back in to pick up this necklace and I spotted a pair of the trousers in the corner of my eye. I ran to them like a crazy person and didn't let go til I got to the till! They're a size too big but I don't care because I loveee them.

pps: You know those days you get ready and then you look in the mirror and think "I really should have washed my hair this morning"? ...yeah.

11/03/12; Green.

Jumper & Jeans: Vero Moda. Bag: Chicwish* Boots: ASOS.
THE SHOES-A. I bought these (along with the jumper and jeans) with £200 of ASOS vouchers I won from Aussie! (I was literally jumping around my bedroom when I found out I won, ha!) They are perfect and I never want them to leave my feet...

Yesterday me and Robbie went to Durham and I fell a tiny bit more in love with it than I was the last time I was there. We found this adorable little house right by the river.... I'm pretty sure no one lives there (the spiderwebs in the windows kind of give it away, ugh!) and now this house is at the top of my "if I win the lottery" list, ha! The only reasonable explanation I can think of for no one living there is the river rose and it flooded, which probably explains all the spiders. Which makes me shudder and want to be a little bit sick... Moving on!

Just before I go I have a little bone to pick with this bag I was sent from Chicwish. I thought it was perfect when I opened the package and couldn't wait to use it! It was the perfect size to fit my camera so I could take it out with me and my macbook fit perfectly in there too. I put my macbook in it to take to Robbie's later that day, put it on my shoulder and the clasp holing the strap snapped in half and the bag and it's contents slammed off my bedroom floor. I was pretty sure that had ended my macbooks life as my old one slid a mere 1 foot off my bed and it broke forever. Luckily it survived (phew!) and I found an old black strap to use for the bag but if my macbook had broke I would have been so upset! You'd think if a bag is big enough to fit a laptop it would hold it!

The weather was amazing today, So hard to believe it's only February! I bought these sunglasses yesterday thinking I wouldn't get to wear them till summer but it ended up being sunglasses weather today. All sunglasses seem to make me look like a bit of a weirdo so I'm really picky when it comes to buying a pair...I'm still not sure what caused me to buy these but I think I like them anyway!
I don't really have much more to write! My life is pretty uneventful at the minute. I'm sure it will be much more exciting when I eventually find a job...

the little things

1&2: Two lovely little valentines day surprises from Robbie. :-) He made me a surprise meal of all my favourite food too!

3&4: I am/was in February's issue of Elle Girl Korea, crazy! For people who cant read Korean; It's about me and my favourite bags...

5: I have a new edition to my skincare routine: I caved and bought the Clarisonic Mia. (Oops!) After reading so many good reviews I um'ed and ah'ed for ages because the price was so steep. Then last week I saw a tweet Emma posted saying buyapowa had a co-buy on it and only ended up paying £90 when the RRP is £120. Plus I paid by paypal which doesn't feel like real money so I didn't feel too guilty... I don't want to write how amazing it is until I have used it for a while as I tend to try something, get too excited, think it's amazing and then realise it actually isn't after a while...But so far so good!

 ps. If you're in the UK and haven't heard of BuyaPowa I seriously suggest you have a look! Its a really good idea; They do 'co-buys' so the more people that buy the products they have on sale the lower the price goes. Going to snap up this Bobbi Brown eyeliner next! I can not deal with the awfulness that is Mac Fluidline any longer...

I couldn't believe my luck when I found this dress in a charity shop last week. You can still buy the dress in other colours on the Topshop website for £46 and I found this for £6.99! Just a little post today as I need to find something to wear for my friends birthday party tonight and get ready etc!

Models Own Beth's Blue, MAC Studio Sculpt in NC15, Models Own Pink Fizz, MAC Studio Fix in NC15.

Decided I'd try MAC's Studio Sculpt foundation instead of my usual Studio Fix (Still bought a new one just in case!) this is the first time I've used it, it was a bit fiddly to blend but it seems to looks better on my skin than Studio Fix. Yay.

I've never actually tried any Models Own nail polishes until now. I always look on their website, always see loads I want and never get round to actually ordering anything. I was in River Island the other day looking for a new swimsuit (I left my old one in the changing room of the swimming pool, silly me!) and found these nail polishes instead. I LOVE THEM. They haven't chipped at all, not even a teeny bit. I can't stop staring at the pink glittery nails and the lilac-y blue of the other colour is perfect.

Would anyone like me to post the cookie dough recipe from a few posts ago? Then I have another excuse to make it, ha.

Sorry for not updating recently again, I just feel a bit distant from this blog. When I look back on my older post I don't really feel like the same person anymore. I promise I will try harder to keep updating. Still need my camera lens but I just added some more things on Ebay so hopefully those will pay for it.

1. Breakfast! 2. New shoes from ASOS. My new favorites. :-) 3. Nails. I got the Models Own / Wah Nails Nail art pen and wanted to try it out. Still need to get the hang of it but I love it. 4. You know the hot cookie dough you get from Pizza Hut. Well I really wanted it but couldn't be bothered to actually go to Pizza Hut. So I just made it myself. Mmmmm.

So please I found these shorts! I had my eye on them for ages last year but never got round to buying them. I saw Sarah was selling them on her ebay so I snapped them up straight away!

Another Sarah (of Sarah Loves) did a little "blogger of the moment" feature on me with an amazing illustration! See it here! She is so talented!

Going to spend the rest of my Sunday painting my nails and making food! Then I'm going to go to Robbie's house for the night. :-) Will do my week in pictures post tonight too!

Sorry for not posting very much this week. I hate this time of year! Everything so miserable and I just want it to be summer. I've just been wearing boring jeans and jumpers all week because it's so cold but I thought I'd take pictures in this dress as it's kind of new. :-) The only thing I hate about it is if I eat anything remotely greasy it gets grease marks allover it. ;| You can see some in the pictures from some brownies I ate earlier, hahaha.

Just a quick post today, I have lots of housework to do before I go to Robbie's house at 7! :-)

Ordered a few things from Topshop which arrived today! The shoes I'm wearing are my favorite thing, even though the photos I took trying to show them off just ended up not working...(should really take my photos somewhere more interesting than my back garden...I might pluck up the courage to let Robbie take some decent ones, aha.) I got this hairband too, I didn't think the flowers would be THAT big in real life, but oh well! Don't know if I dare wear it outside of my garden, I might use it as a belt instead, haha. 'Cause it's so ridiculous I decided to just wear boring jeans and a t-shirt to tone it down a bit, aha.

Spent my day walking round Pets At Home with Robbie wanting to take every animal in there back home with me...I think I might get a big fish tank for my bedroom, I could sit and watch them for hours! After we left we went to his Nanna's house for the afternoon and drank lots of tea. :-)

Can't believe I've made £149 so far on Ebay, I only listed 12 things for 99p each; I'm amazed! Thank you if any of you bought something! I'll be listing more stuff over the weekend. :-)

This dress is so out of the norm for me. I really love it, it's just I'm so used to wearing short dresses! I don't even know if I suit it...but I found it in Oxfam for £1 and I couldn't resist the bargain! I think I need to grow a few inches or wear huge heels for it to work. I hate being so short! I also need to take it in a lot as it's 3 sizes too big. ;(

Sorry for not posting much over Christmas and New Year. I haven't really had the chance! Plus I've been ill with some sort of flu and I had a pretty terrible day yesterday (well Monday, as it's technically Wednesday) but everything is okay now! :-) I want to relax and sleep but earlier one of the cats managed to turn the gas cooker on and it leaked gas for about 10 minutes before I noticed. (stupid blocked nose!) Now I'm paranoid they'll do it again and the house will blow up while I sleep. ;|

Oh dear, I thought my days of entire Topshop outfits were over! I didn't realise till just now, haha. I got this lovely jumper in the sale a few days ago at the Metro Centre, I was going to order it for Christmas but I'm glad I didn't cause I saved £20! Yay. I ended up spending the rest of my shopping time drooling over some Jil Sander shoes in Tkmaxx, I almost bought them but I realised I'd probably never wear them...So I went to Ikea instead and got a bookcase, a table, new bed covers, a little tea light lantern then a chair and some rolls of paper for Robbie and spent £50 less that I would have on the shoes! Plus I got to assemble everything which is my idea of a brilliant time. I love putting up Ikea furniture! ahaha.

Quite a long post today cause I haven't posted for a while! Couldn't do an outfit post though because my tripod is at home. I've just been at my Nanna's house over Christmas, I got a lovely YSL ring, and a few things from topshop. :-) Robbie got me the reindeer teddy because I thought it was adorable, aha. I did the usual on Christmas day; ate too much, then built a snowman, ha. I'm just sat with a lot of my family now, my cousins brought his baby over and everyone is fascinated, haha. I'm off to Robbie's house now though! Yay.

I love this snood from ASOS. It's really cosy and I love the colour! I ordered lots of things from ASOS this month, including things for a giveaway I'll post tomorrow. :-) They've taken so long to arrive but I guess the weather is to blame!

Today I've eaten a bag of chocolates, finished off my Christmas shopping and sat around listening to Adam Green and The Beach Boys with Robbie, aha. Now we're playing with Rufus and his new toy. (A laser pen he loves to chase around.)
